Zoom Marketplace admin access

This guide is for Zoom account owners and admins who manage whether users can add CoreVideo from the Zoom App Marketplace. These are Zoom account controls; CoreVideo cannot bypass them.

Use this guide when:

Requirements

Configure whether apps require approval

  1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace as an account owner or admin.
  2. Click Manage in the top-right corner.
  3. In Admin App Management, click Permissions.
  4. Review the Publicly listed apps approval requirement.
  5. Review the Unlisted apps approval requirement.
  6. Enable or disable the approval requirement for each section as required by your organization.
  7. Optional: configure Zoom-created app and organization-created app exemptions if those exemptions match your policy.

If approval is required, users who have not been granted access may see Request instead of Add. They can submit a request for Marketplace admins to review.

Approve CoreVideo for users

  1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace as an account owner or admin.
  2. Search for CoreVideo and open the app listing.
  3. In App permissions, turn on Approve use of this app.
  4. Choose All users on this account or Specific users or user groups on this account.
  5. For specific access, click Add users, then add individual users or user groups.
  6. Click Save.

Approval allows users to add CoreVideo from the Marketplace. It does not automatically sign users in inside OBS; each operator still signs in from Tools > Zoom Plugin Settings.

Add CoreVideo for users as an admin

Use this path when an admin wants to add CoreVideo on behalf of users.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace as an account owner or admin.
  2. Search for CoreVideo and open the app listing.
  3. Click Add for Others.
  4. Review the app authorization page and requested permissions.
  5. Choose All users or Users & Groups.
  6. Optional: leave Zoom's email notification enabled so users know the app was added.
  7. Click Allow.

If CoreVideo is already added for some users, admins can add more users from Manage > Apps on Account > Added Apps > CoreVideo > Add Users.

Disable or remove CoreVideo access

Choose the action that matches the operational intent:

After removing access in Zoom, ask affected operators to open OBS and click Disconnect/Sign out in Tools > Zoom Plugin Settings. That clears the local CoreVideo sign-in state immediately instead of waiting for the next failed Zoom request.

User self-removal

Users can remove their own CoreVideo authorization:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  2. Click Manage in the top-right corner.
  3. Click Added Apps.
  4. Find CoreVideo.
  5. Click Remove.
  6. Optionally choose a removal reason.
  7. Click Remove to confirm.
  8. Open OBS and click Disconnect/Sign out in Tools > Zoom Plugin Settings.
